How To Load The Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 35mm Film Camera - Sidekick Camera

How To Load The Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 35mm Film Camera

Step 1:  Insert Battery Into Camera

Before loading film into the Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170, you will need to load the battery into the camera.  The battery compartment is located on the right side of the camera.  Gently open the door and place the CR123A battery inside the compartment so that the battery matches the illustration.  The + side of the battery should face the top of the camera.

Step 2:  Open Film Door

The film is loaded into the back of the camera.  Pop open the film door by pressing upwards on the latch on the right side of the camera.

Step 3:  Place Film Canister Inside Of Camera

Take your film canister and set it onto the spool on the right side of the camera.  The spool should insert into the open bottom of the film canister so that the film itself is hanging out to the left.  Gently take the exposed film and pull it to the left so that the end of the film is hanging past the spool on the left hand side of the camera.

Step 4:  Close Film Door

Once you have correctly inserted the film into the camera, gently close the film door on the back of the camera.  You should hear the film winding inside of the camera.  Turn on the camera by sliding open the lens cover on the front and you will see the counter on top of the camera move to "1".  You are now ready to shoot film photos with your Olympus Stylus Zoom 170!
